Workshops
Duran Events holds a number of workshops throughout the year intended to help girls gain confidence and skill for presenting themselves throughout life, but certainly in various pageant settings.
These workshops, usually a single day, are open to girls practicing from all pageant systems, girls that are not interested in attending a pageant but want these skills in their life, and for girls that are considering attending a complete pageant and want to know more before deciding.
We make these workshops both fun an informative for girls and their parents.

Each workshop will list the intended agenda and items to be covered. You can still request additional help on other topics. It's easy to find out if this is possible, just ask! Here are items often covered in our workshops:
For those new to pageantry or on-stage presentation:
- How to present yourself on stage, movement, walking
- How and when to use makeup, hair style
- How and how not to dress
- How to overcome being nervous or stage fright
- How to conduct yourself in an interview
- How to answer hard questions you may not know
- Value of a platform or your personal position on an important topic
- Use of common stage elements: curtains, stairs, microphone,
lighting
- Various stage maneuvers and turns, pivot turn
- How to walk and not walk, where to look and not look
- How to interact with the emcee
- Modeling tips
- Review your personal introduction and presentation
- Make suggestions on crafting your personal introduction
- Comment on your clothing: Gowns, interview outfit, sports wear, etc.
- Review your on-stage movement
- Review optional skills
